Updated on May 11th, 2022 by Geoffrey Martin: Skul: The Hero Slayer is a seemingly endless roguelike game that continually gives you new ways to play, mostly through the use of the various skulls in tangent with the random nature of stage layouts. The following tips and tricks should help you when first starting out in this game. The game does a great job at getting you up and exploring right away, quickly teaching you the ropes. RELATED: Dead Cells: The Best Mutations, RankedIf you have played any other roguelike game before such as Dead Cells or Hades, then you have some idea as to how Skul: The Hero Slayer plays out. You will do this by venturing out into forests, castles, and biolabs, all the while donning new skulls to gain new powers and abilities. You play as the titular antihero, Skul, who is tasked with defeating the humans that seek to destroy the demon kingdom. This was a cake-walk for MC-geared tank, healer and DPS as 4, and likely is manageable as 3 if generally well-geared, as Skul himself is not particularly challenging to nuke down.Skul: The Hero Slayer is a thrilling and creative pixel art roguelike game with plenty of content to last you a long while. Clear the 3 or so trash groups from the entrance to Festival Lane fountain, and kill Skul.Repeat steps 1-3 until you have your spawn! Note that the lockout limit means you can't do this non-stop until you find him, but does avoid bringing a whole group to EPL just to kill nothing unless you need to do a run of either part of Stratholme anyway!.From here you should be able to /tar him if he's spawned. Hug the left wall with your Eye and move into the archway towards Festival Lane.Cast Eye of Kilrogg, while your companion opens the gate into the first courtyard (you need this as the cast for the Eye is 5 seconds but the gate will close before you can get through with the Eye!).Enter through the undead-side entrance with one other player. My method for farming the wand was to focus on the spawn by the undead-side entrance, as you can easily scout out the spawn without killing any enemies!

His most notable loot is Skul's Ghastly Touch, which is effectively warlock BiS throughout MC/Ony and BWL due to giving a whopping +14 Shadow spell damage! He has two spawn points: the first in Festival Lane, easiest to access from the undead-side entrance the second is by Fras Siabi's shop which is directly left of the living-side entrance. It's almost always the gloves and once we got the wand, which a lock happily went home with.Ĭomment by Weasei Skul is a rare-spawn hostile NPC in the living side of Stratholme. I've put him down about five times now and I have never seen the plate chest. He is "rare", but if you're doing a run where you're actually going through the areas where he spawns-and this is almost inevitable if you do the Postmaster-I'd say he's there about 1 in 3 or 4 runs. He's pretty tall and easy to spot-just an oversize Bonewarder/Undead Mage looking dude. So it's not hard to take a minute to peek in there and see if he's spawned and in that area during a Baron run, either. Festival Lane is also right next to the side door for a Baron run.

The other place I have spotted him more often is Festival Lane (take your first right instead of a left when entering Strath). One spawn point is Fras Siabi's dead end. You can't solo him because he has two spawn points and BOTH of them plant him squarely in the middle of one or more groups of trash mobs, so you have to take out the trash and fight him at the same time. Comment by ThottbotHe is an elite and you can drop him very easily, he's no more difficult than your usual trash mob.
